Cal Poly Summer provides a variety of undergraduate and graduate classes in four sessions for matriculated Cal Poly students. Which means you can seamlessly (without needing to enroll elsewhere nor worry about submitting transcripts) catch up or get ahead on your degree by taking courses from all six of Cal Poly's colleges.

Summer 2024 Fee Structure
Summer 2024 Undergraduate
Units 1-4, $275 per unit *
Units above 4 will be assessed at either part-time or full-time rates
5-6 units (part-time) = $1,110
7 or more units (full-time) = $1,914
Summer 2024 Credential
Units 1-4, $300 per unit *
Units above 4 will be assessed at either part-time or full-time rates
5-6 units (part-time) = $1,288
7 or more units (full-time) = $2,220
Summer 2024 Graduate
Units 1-4, $325 per unit *
Units above 4 will be assessed at either part-time or full-time rates
5-6 units (part-time) = $1,388
7 or more units (full-time) = $2,392

More Summer
In addition to undergraduate and graduate classes in four sessions for matriculated Cal Poly students, additional courses are available through Extended Education.
Every summer, incoming first-year students have an opportunity to accelerate their academic studies and begin their Cal Poly experience early through the Quarter Plus program.
For community members, Cal Poly offers summer classes through its Open University. This unique program provides access to Cal Poly's quality Learn by Doing instruction without formally enrolling in the university.

On-Campus summer housing in available for continuing Cal Poly students and newly admitted transfer students considering taking summer classes.
