FALL 2026

The Cadet Track is an immersive, highly structured leadership and life skills program specifically tailored for incoming license-track undergraduates and those opting into the Corps of Cadets. To build character, teamwork, and accountability, each day strictly begins with mandatory formation practice before breakfast, and all participants are required to wear the official physical training (PT) gear issued in their sea bags. The initial sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday focus deeply on the fundamentals of how to be an exemplary cadet, mastering uniform regulations, grooming standards, and how to be a good shipmate. Through this rigorous pathway, cadets learn to successfully balance the academic demands of maritime education with the responsibilities of being part of a cohesive corps.
