  • 0900-1020, Rizza Auditorium | Welcome Aboard: Your First Week Starts Here: Welcome remarks from campus leadership, introduction to orientation objectives and schedules, and initial meeting with student leaders.
  • 1030-1115, Rizza Auditorium | Intro to Cadet Experience: Comprehensive overview of Cadet Leadership & Development (CLD), the structure of the Corps of Cadets, and what will be learned this week and over your time as a cadet.
  • 1115-1200, Rizza Auditorium | Fundamentals: Uniform and Grooming: Detailed instruction on strict cadet uniform standards, hair/nail requirements, facial hair compliance, and inspection procedures.
  • 1200-1320, Dining Center | Lunch
  • 1330-1415, Rizza Auditorium | The Expectations That Set Us Apart: Introduction to formal cadet responsibilities, code of conduct guidelines, and a refresh of the standards reviewed prior to arrival.
  • 1430-1515, Rizza Auditorium | Leading with Character: Interactive session led by cadet leaders, focusing on the practical definitions of character, integrity and operational leadership.
  • 1530-1620, Rizza Auditorium | How to Be a Great Shipmate: Understanding the chain of command, implementing on-the-spot corrections, demonstrating mutual respect, and executing professional conflict management.
  • 1630-1720, Rizza Auditorium | Value of the Cadet Experience: Alumni panel discussing how the rigors of the cadet lifestyle directly translate into high-demand industrial career success.
